the nebula released me
atop this rock of
solitude
deep in the islets of langerhans,
where I
linger
at a distance from the majority,
the ocean
washing around me,
the lingering effects
of these
auralised indulgences
invading my head,
sucking on my thoughts
like an intoxicated leech.
inspirations are
slithering easy
through a liquid cortex.
mutated sounds
emerging rapidly
as I find myself
sliding
into another bout
of heavy sonic narcosis...
